More than 100 participants attended the “Building AI Without Boundaries” workshop on 18 May 2026, hosted by Queensland University of Technology (QUT), the Australian Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering (ATSE), and the ARC Training Centre for Joint Biomechanics (ARC ITTC JB). The event brought together industry professionals, academics, researchers, and students to examine emerging advances in artificial intelligence and cross-disciplinary innovation. Through interactive discussions, practical demonstrations, and collaborative activities, the workshop explored ethical AI, real-world applications, and the future of human-centred technology. Attendees gained valuable insights into the responsible development of AI while promoting creativity, accessibility, and collaboration across diverse sectors and communities. Moving forward, participants aim to strengthen partnerships and continue these important conversations through future collaborations and initiatives.
