Our Centre’s Legacy
The ARC Industrial Transformation and Training Centre for Joint Biomechanics (ITTC-JB) has become a leading global centre for human joint mechanobiology, developing novel and translational medical technologies to improve personalised patient care and empower the future medical workforce. Explore future directions in joint biomechanics and medical technology with us, as you enjoy watching some of the Centre’s incredible achievements, since its establishment in August 2020. As highlighted in this brief video showcase, the Centre has delivered significant clinical, economic, and societal impacts – including the creation of 3 spinout companies, 5 patents, and the training of over 20 PhD candidates and 10 postdoctoral fellows. Please contact our Centre Director Professor YuanTong Gu or Deputy Centre Director Co-Chair Professor Peter Pivonka for further information.
