BridgeTech Symposium 2021

This week our leadership team took part in the annual BridgeTech Program Symposium. BridgeTech is a national professional development program that trains researchers and entrepreneurs on how to effectively navigate the medtech commercialisation pathway. The symposium brings together representatives from industry, universities, and associations to share their insights with participants in the program over 3 days.

Professor Peter Pivonka and Prof Ashish Gupta (Adj) delivered a talk on the commercialisation pathways utilised by the Queensland Unit for Advanced Shoulder Research (QUASR) including research translation enabled by the ARC Training Centre for Joint Biomechanics.

2020 ANZSB QLD Branch Annual Scientific Meeting – 3rd December 2020

Our members from the ARC ITTC for Joint Biomechanics presented their work at the recent Australia New Zealand Society for Biomechanics (ANZSB) QLD Branch meeting held on Thursday 3rd December 2020 in Brisbane. Prof Peter Pivonka and Prof Ashish Gupta (Adj) delivered the keynote address on the relevance and integration of joint biomechanics in the orthopaedic clinical practice.
